Planning meeting for GoFish
As the summer sun brightens the skies, the GoFish Event, scheduled for August, is shaping up to be an unforgettable experience. In preparation for this grand event, the core team recently convened for a critical meeting to finalize the program details. This gathering was not just a meeting; it was the culmination of months of meticulous planning and a testament to the team’s dedication.
As the meeting wrapped up, there was a palpable sense of achievement among the team members. The GoFish event is set to be more than just a fishing event; its a celebration of community, sport, and environmental stewardship.
Stay tuned for more updates as we count down to this exciting event. We can’t wait to see you there in August!
Working Outside with 692 Club

Our work takes us all over the state, which we love, but sometimes it’s really nice to have a meeting with Eastern Oregon University students and the 692 Club from our own sunny backyard as well 🙂

Community health town hall event
Living Islands hosted a community health town hall event on April 29. We caught up with Dr. Sheldon Riklon and many of our other community partners to talk about #COVID-19, #vaccines, #tobacco, and other #health challenges facing the #Marshallese community. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, ask questions, and speak about Marshallese health. Thank you to everyone who attended and all of our speakers who shared their work and showed how partnerships like these strengthen our community!
Together, we can make 2022 a year of better health!
