Women’s Health and Mutual Support
Today we met with the Marshallese Women’s organization, Ippen Dron Club, to discuss how to support them in these uncertain and stressful times.
With the kind support of Oregon Community Foundation, Living Island and Ippen Dron Club will be able to put on a number of virtual Covid-19 story-telling circles.

Covid-19 Testing in Tualatin
Today we had the last Covid-19 test site targeted at Pacific Islanders in Washington County this year. The event was great, with 150+ community members test. We are blessed for being able to provide these test sites, with interpreters on-site and material in multiple Pacific Languages.
At the event, we had the chance once again to provide food and resources for the people who got tested. In the midst of Pandemic, Wildfires, and Economic Recession, these resources have never been more important, and we truly appreciate the organizations that have supported and helped our efforts.
We also had the chance to say thank you so much for all work you do, to all the volunteers by serving a warm islander meal and plenty of donuts and coffee!
